Hi! My name is Lynette Guidry, I'm 20 years old and I'm a student at Louisiana State University. I grew up within a very big family, so naturally as an older child my parents sought me out as the babysitter. Gradually, I grew a passion for kids and enjoyed spending time with them. My mother owned a daycare for many years, and my sisters and I would spend time there helping out my mother with the children. By doing so, I met a lot of parents who were looking for nannies and babysitters! I quickly learned that I had a passion towards children and decided to try making a living out of it.

My mother use to work for a Daycare and I spent a good majority of my time helping her out by interacting and playing with the children. I also was a camp counselor for 2 years at my church's summer camps.

Some of my favorite activities that I enjoy doing with kids is watching movies, playing with chalk outside, riding bikes, reading stories, and cooking for them.

The most important part to me about being a nanny is the safety of the children. As a nanny, I'm in charge of taking care of somebody else's kids, and it's my job to fulfill those requirements.

I have no experience with special needs children, but I'm willing to learn and cooperate with the family and child!

The most important part about being a nanny...

My most enjoyable moment with the kids is simply just watching movies with them. I love watching Disney movies that the kids have never seen before, and it excites me to watch their reactions towards the movie.
