A little bit about me

I have worked with children for years. I would love to help any family that needs a bit of help on the weekends. I am open to half days during the week as well. I owned two daycares in my career. I also worked professionally with "troubled" kids in a children's home. I have also been a nanny for a few families when my kids were little. My two boys that still live at home with me are 14 and 10 yrs old. My older two are living out on their own in university and graduated. I just love children and would love to help wherever I can.

I have worked with children for years. I owned two daycares in my career. I worked with "troubled" children for years at a residential home. I was a nanny for many different families when my kids went to school. I LOVE kids and would like to help the right family/families.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love the beach/lakes around here. Picnics are a big outing for my kids when they were little. The park is an everyday stop after school. Walks with pets are enjoyable as well. I have had a lot of fun with each kid I have ever taken care of.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I LOVE kids and mine are growing up! My daughter works at a daycare currently and sends me videos daily of her kids. I miss it dearly and would love to be a perfect match with some families on here:)

My experience with special needs children...

When I worked in the children's home I was on the Emergency unit. We had all types of clients including teenagers just out of jail to 4 yr olds who couldn't talk or eat. I feel like love heals alot of issues and I tried my best to show them so much!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have sooooooooooooo many! But I will say every time one of "my" kids graduates I am so proud!!
