I work in an elementary school as a paraprofessional ages K-6. I worked in a daycare for 5 months ages 8 weeks-5. I took early childhood education in high school for a year doing student teaching in a preschool and elementary. Ive been babysitting for families for 7 years. I coach a 6U softball team in the spring.

I love to go to the park and take walks to enjoy the nature. I love doing fun crafts like making bracelets. Painting or playing chalk outside. Going on small adventures around town like a museum, the zoo, or cafes.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Not only is it important to meet all the families needs but to create this bond with them. I truly believe that working in childcare you need to create amazing relationships with the children and make sure you are a safe place for them. Also with the parents too to make sure that they know their children are being cared for while they are away working, which I understand can be scary to leave your children alone with someone. I want to build trust with the family and be there whenever they need me.

The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment was when I worked with this young girl, she just turned two when I started and I was with her until she was 4 years old. The best part of that experience was watching her develop so many skills from saying a few words to having full conversations with me, to going on the potty by herself, clean up her own messes, and learning the abcs and counting to 10. I felt to proud to see her growth. We had so many adventures together like going to a cat cafe or watching bands play music at concerts. Just building such close bonds will forever warm my heart.
