More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I worked as a nanny for a 5yr old girl for a little over 6 months. I more so picked her up and dropped her off to school and helped with homework. Ensure she took proper precautions with hand washing and changing clothes upon entering home wearing face mask to school. Meal prep/ order food if required most times there was something for me to warm up for her. I also helped when she did online school for two weeks I would work from 7am- 6pm. I now work for a caregiver agency called TlC where I work with all different families around the city & work with children ages 1+
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy playing board games, video games, I don’t mind watching kid movies with them helping them learn numbers and alphabets playing nursery rhymes/ learning songs. I’m a big kid at heart so I don’t mind playing with kids. I don’t mind taking kids on outings to the park, the zoo, & the aquarium etc,.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Ensuring the kids are well taken care of and the parents are happy with my services.
My experience with special needs children...
I’ve only been a caregiver for one special need child who had autism & I’d do it again.
The most important part about being a nanny...
When I first started as Elena’s nanny she seemed very shy and barely said anything to me so I let her warm up to me but once it was time for me to leave she did not want me to go home she kept trying to find a reason for me to stay. It then became a everyday thing we literally had a whole leaving process so that I could leave without her crying.
