A little bit about me

Hi, I’m maci! As the oldest of 6 kids, I’ve grown up around kids, gaining that ‘care provider’ mentality at a young age. This has had many advantages, especially when it comes to the amount of patience I have haha. Previously, I’ve babysat, worked at childcare centers and done some nanny like positions. I’ve worked in KVC’s pediatric psych unit as well, so I’m comfortable working with behaviors. These positions taught me the basics of childcare, but also how important nurturing, teaching, and creating a stimulating environment is to the overall growth of children. I’ve worked with ages newborn-16 yrs, and genuinely enjoy every age. Fun fact, I’ve watched literally 17 kids at once before, so any # of kids is fine as well lol. I love going on outings, and have a car & clean driving record if driving/outings is a request. I’m currently in nursing school, working as a CNA but I’ve realized I have much more of a passion for children, so this is my step to get back into childcare!
