A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Mackenzie. I am CPR certified and have been a toddler teacher for about a year and a half now with experiences in the infants, twos, preschool, and pre-k classes as well. I have teaching credentials for infants and toddlers so I can create some fun daily activities for your child by adding things that will make the activities age appropriate (: ! I really enjoy teaching and being around children. I have also babysat for a few families for a couple of years now so I have recommendations! I am more than willing to help out with some household chores such as dishes, laundry, and meal making for your child if needed. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a co-teacher at Kindercare for a year and some change. I have also babysat for a few families over the past few years who I have built great relationships with!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I like to do a lot of artsy type activities as well as outdoor activities. I tend to pick a topic and relate activities to that for a month or so. Ex: month of July = the universe. We can do different activities involving planets, constellations, astronauts, etc. I will curate a curriculum for your child that is age appropriate and provides opportunities for new experiences and learning.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Knowing that I am a part of a child’s experience in a world that is new to them. Helping show them around and teach them new things is such a joy! On top of that, I also play a role in helping out parents/guardians who need it. Community is everything.

My experience with special needs children...

I have briefly worked with multiple children with autism and one child with spina bifida.
