Hey, y’all!
I am a mama of 2 little girls, 3 years & 3 months old. I married my middle school sweetheart & have been married almost 6 years. My toddler is a type 1 diabetic, so I am experienced in the care of a medically needy child. I also have a background in direct support for those with IDD & autism. Before I was a mama I was a sitter/nanny for many different families. All of which I am still in contact with today! Experienced with all age groups, from newborn to early teens. Comfortable preparing bottles (breast milk & formula) nap schedules & potty training! I have truly done it all. :)
I am a lover of animals, plants & of course, children. I have two dogs who hold a special place in my heart. When I have downtime you can find me reading a new book, relaxing on my porch swing or catching up on my favorite shows. I love routine & structure for myself & my girls but also am flexible for all the ebbs & flows of life!

"Mackenzie was wonderful with my 2 boys. She kept them in her home , which was always clean and smoke free, and made sure to update me, including pictures, throughout the day. I used cloth diapers and she ensured they were handled as I requested. In addition she took the boys on fun outings along with her own child. It's been several years, but my older son still remembers Ms Mckenzie and all the fun they had."

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I am a mama of 2 myself! With this comes a love of crafting & art projects, blowing bubbles, running through the sprinkler, reading books & long stroller walks. I have never denied a taste of “soup” or “pie” made in a play kitchen & love to actually bake cookies with my littles as well.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I understand how important our sweet babies are to us as parents. I take being reliable, trustworthy & safe very seriously. I love being able to help parents & give kids a happy & healthy place to play while parents work & take care of their responsibilities.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience in the therapy & daily care of children with IDD & autism. I also have experience with type 1 diabetes as my toddler was diagnosed at 1 year old. :)
