Hi! I’m Madalyn. I have worked as a nanny and in childcare for the past 11 years, and I have a degree in Child Development. Working with children has always been something I genuinely enjoy, and I love getting to be part of their growth and everyday adventures.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love being outdoors with kids whenever the weather allows! Whether it’s playing at the park, going on walks, blowing bubbles, or just exploring outside, I think fresh air is the best. I also enjoy arts and crafts, reading, baking, sensory activities, board games, and anything that gets little imaginations going. My goal is to make every day fun while helping children learn and grow.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and trusting environment where children feel comfortable being themselves. When children feel secure and supported, they’re able to learn, grow, and build confidence.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience caring for children with special needs, including working with a child with Down syndrome in my daycare classroom for over a year. They used a walker, and I helped support their daily routines, activities, and inclusion in the classroom. This experience taught me the importance of patience, encouragement, and adapting care to meet each child’s individual needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moments are the little milestones. Whether it’s hearing a child’s first new word, watching them figure something out on their own, or seeing their face light up when they accomplish something new, I love knowing I got to be part of that journey. Those moments are what make this job so rewarding.
