I’ve worked in a daycare and a kids’ gym where I led games, helped with activities, and supported kids emotionally and socially. I’ve also worked as a private nanny, and I love building relationships with the kids I care for. I’ve babysat for families in my community and helped take care of younger relatives as well. These experiences have taught me how to be patient, nurturing, and dependable — and how to have fun while keeping kids safe and happy!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing both indoor and outdoor activities with children that help them learn, have fun, and express themselves. Indoors, I enjoy reading books, doing arts and crafts, playing games, building with blocks or puzzles, and creating fun routines like dance parties or story time. Outdoors, I love going for walks, visiting parks or playgrounds, coloring pictures or painting, playing with chalk, bubbles, or balls, and helping kids stay active in safe and engaging ways. I’m always looking for age-appropriate, creative activities that match each child’s interests and energy level!

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters most to me as a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and supportive environment where children feel seen, heard, and cared for. I want the kids I look after to feel comfortable being themselves, learning through play, and knowing that I’m someone they can trust. I also value open communication with parents so we can work together as a team. It’s important to me to not just be a caregiver, but a positive role model and someone who brings calm, joy, and consistency into a child’s daily life.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was when the little boy I cared for made me a “thank you” card after I helped him get through a tough day. He had been feeling sad and missing his mom, so we spent the afternoon building a blanket fort, reading books, and drawing together to lift his spirits. The next day, he handed me a card that said, “Thank you for making me happy again.” It was such a small gesture, but it reminded me how much of an impact we can have just by being present, patient, and kind.
