More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’ve been babysitting since I was pretty young and regularly babysat for several families throughout middle school, high school, and college. I also spent a summer nannying full time for a family with three kids, which gave me a lot of experience caring for multiple children at once. I’m also the oldest of four, so I’ve been the built-in babysitter for most of my life!
My experience with special needs children...
I was part of a Buddy Program for seven years throughout middle and high school, where I was paired with a student in special education each year. We spent time together each morning doing different activities, and I genuinely loved being a part of the program. I also have a younger cousin with special needs, so this is something that has been a part of my life outside of the Buddy Program as well.
