Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy doing arts and crafts indoors, I also love taking them to Rare Air in Chico or Durham pool when it is warm. I have also taken kids to Hobby Lobby to find a craft or a toy they want to build and we do it together! I always have fun ideas depending on the age group I am caring for!
My experience with special needs children...
I have taken care of two children with autism, ages 4 and 9.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment of all time is when I was at work (I work for CARD part time) and one of the kids I watch saw me way down the hall and yelled that's my nanny and came running towards me! Everyone that I work with at CARD thought it was weird that the student had called me a nanny when I am an after school program teacher and when I explained that I really am his nanny we laughed and laughed. It was exciting to see how excited he was to see me!
