More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I worked at a daycare center during college caring for children 6 weeks to 5 years old. During the summers I nannied, worked at summer camps, and babysat for various families. I now work at an outdoor science school, caring for children on day hikes and overnight in cabins during the week.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy doing activities with children that help to facilitate their interests and natural curiosities. Whether that be arts and crafts, experiments, or puzzles and riddles, I enjoy helping children grow in their interests. I also like being active with children so I like to do things like going on hikes, bike rides or even just walks to the parks.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is meeting the children and the family where they are. Learning and noticing their needs and helping them when they need it, even if it was not originally discussed with employment, sometimes they might need help with laundry or the dishwasher even if it wasn't previously agreed upon. Meeting the children where they are revolves around their interests and previously planned activities.
My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with students with ADHD and autism.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was after I moved across the country for a new job and came home for the holidays. I went over to babysit the children I had nannied the previous year and I was worried that there was going to be separation anxiety with the youngest, as he only just turned 2, and he would not remember me well. When I entered the house he came running up to give me a hug and wanted to show me his room (that I obviously had already seen). Later that day he asked me if I wanted to paint because we always used to paint together when his siblings were at school.

Full-Time Nanny Available in San Francisco, CA: Genesis N.
Hi! I’m a CPR-certified mom to a 2-year-old daughter and I’m looking for a family that’s open to a nanny mom setup where my daughter can come with me. I genuinely enjoy being around kids and creating a calm, fun, home-like environment for them instead of just sitting inside all day.
I enjoy age-appropriate outdoor activities, parks, reading, learning through play, and engaging children in fun everyday activities, snack/lunch prep, and little adventure days. I also enjoy teaching younger kids simple things throughout the day like colors, shapes, counting, phonics, letters, and basic learning through play and everyday activities.
I’m naturally patient, nurturing, and very used to caring for toddlers full-time. I’d love to find a family that likes the idea of their child having companionship, outdoor experiences, learning, and a more warm and engaging environment throughout the day.
