More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Babysat for multiple families, including but not limited to - a family for 5 years (1 girl from ages 9-14 years old), a family with 2 children for 2 years (newborn - 1 years, 5-6 years), a family with a set of twins as a live-in nanny for 2 weeks plus occasional weekends (aged 10). I am also the eldest daughter and cousin on both side so have babysat my 3 brothers and 9 cousins on multiple occasions!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Going to the park, arts and crafts, scavenger hunts, sidewalk chalk games, nature walks, bubbles, dress-up, puppet shows, water balloon toss, etc.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important aspect of being a nanny is building a relationship based on trust, consistency, and care - both with the children and the family. Children thrive when they feel safe and understood, and I take pride in showing up with patience, playfulness and presence everyday. My goal is to always be a calm and loving support system that you and your child can rely on!
My experience with special needs children...
I have 2 cousins who I have watched on 15 separate occasions with special needs - one is 10 with down syndrome and the other is 12 with autism!
The most important part about being a nanny...
There is nothing better than hearing that first belly laugh from a baby! I once spent over 20 minutes making silly faces and fake sneezing just to hear a 7-month-old giggle uncontrollably. Her laugh was so contagious that we were both cracking up by the end! Moments like that remind me how joyful and pure caring for little ones can be!

Hi! My name is Lashae Singleton, and I’m 29 years old. I’m a super outgoing, energetic, and patient person who absolutely adores children. While I don’t have any kids of my own, I have plenty of hands-on experience caring for my godchildren and have always been the go-to person for family and friends when they need help with little ones.
I love staying active and creating fun, engaging activities that keep kids learning and entertained. Whether it’s arts and crafts, outdoor play, or helping with homework, I enjoy being part of a child’s development and growth. Teaching comes naturally to me, and I always aim to make learning exciting and age-appropriate.
