A little bit about me

I am a college freshman majoring in Psychology and hoping to gain more experience working with kids and learning about child development! Throughout high school, I informally cared for the children of my town by babysitting for friends and family on weekends. I also volunteered for several elementary schools, serving as a mentor and leader to children throughout four years. I am currently volunteering at elementary schools in Chico as a class assistant to K-12 teachers, where I assist in class activities, classroom management and conflict resolution. As an older sister with a big family, a large portion of my life for the past 10 years has been caring for children. I am eager to use the skills gained through my experience to continue supporting the children of my community!
