Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Throughout my senior year of high school I worked with the YMCA. I then worked at an elementary school in Burlington, Vermont while in college. At both of these jobs I worked in Afterschool Care. I organized fun and educational activities, as well as helped in preparing snacks/supper. Summer 2024 I worked as a Camp Counselor, spending 40-45 hours a week with the YMCA. Then, this past summer I worked at The Banner School, mostly in the Preschool Camp working with children as young as 3 years old. I also have a nephew who is now 3.5 years old and have helped with providing care for him since he was a few months old.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Arts and crafts!! I love to help children explore art and show their creativity. I would be more than happy to provide homework assistance if applicable.
