I have always enjoy being around kids and have helped with my younger siblings a lot as I’ve grown up, as well as friends children. Helping with the kids at my grandma’s day my whole childhood is what mainly influenced my interest in helping with children as a job.

I enjoy entertaining children by showing them new activities, including drawling, painting, practicing rhythms like the Abc’s, playing outside, practicing shapes and colors. I also just love creating a bond by watching movies together and offering snacks and food to create comfort. Learning and bonding with the child you are working with is so important.

What matters to me about being a nanny/babysitter is showing that you are walking in the door with a warm, comforting, and trust worthy attitude. This shows the child, as well as the parents, that being a nanny isn't just about getting paid, it is about creating friendships, trust, and everyone is learning something in the experience.
