My name is Madi Osborne and I am from Columbus, Georgia! I now live in dawsonville and work as a school counselor in lumpkin county. Throughout high school and college I was a nanny for various different families. I have always worked with kids whether babysitting, tutoring, or teaching. I come from a huge loving family and I just want to be able to spread the love that was given to me, to those kids who truly need it. I have worked in different daycares and after school care facilities throughout the years. I have worked as a teacher and school counselor while mentoring kids on the side too.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy arts and crafts and playing board games. I myself enjoy cooking so sometimes getting the kids involved with that is fun. Of course only in a safe way!

Getting to know your wonderful children, because I believe each and every child has unique characteristics that make them so valuable to everyone who knows them. I love being able to be a positive role model in children's lives.

I have worked with students who have ADHD, autism, learning disorders, anxiety, depression, and so much more.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment would have to be that one afternoon, the younger little girl I used to babysit had a little meltdown about missing her dad (her parents were divorced) and since I have experience within that area, I was able to sit her down and talk her through it. Getting to be personable and reason through problems with children is so rewarding to me and I will never forget that moment.
