I took classes at Cocc and through placement, hours got to work at local schools as a teaching assistant in special needs classrooms and kindergarten. I also was a preschool teacher for six months as well as have loads of babysitting and nannying experience.

The most important part of being a nanny is the children. Not just looking at it as a job but making a connection with the children and hearing what they need and putting their needs above my own.

I volunteered at a school and there is a little girl with DS, She has not only made an impact on me but the other children around her which is honestly one of the most unique things I have seen in the classroom.
