I started volunteering in the childcare rooms/nursery’s at our church while I was in elementary and middle school. As I got older I started working in daycares as well as babysitting for families.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Some indoor activities I really enjoy doing with the kids would be arts and crafts (painting, coloring) and indoor games but my favorite would be sensory actives! I love hands on activities and the kiddos do as well! Personally when I’m outside I enjoy sports and those fun outdoor games to burn off that energy!
My experience with special needs children...
While working at the daycares, there was multiple kids with special needs that we were responsible for. I’ve been able to calm down and comfort the children, as my nephew has special needs as well.
