More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I currently work in a daycare where I care for children of different ages throughout the day. My responsibilities include supervising activities, helping with meals and snacks, supporting learning activities, maintaining routines, and ensuring children are safe, engaged, and well cared for.
Working in a daycare has taught me how to stay organized, patient, and attentive while caring for multiple children at once. I’ve learned how important consistency, communication, and positive reinforcement are when helping children learn and grow.
In addition to my daycare experience, I have also provided babysitting care for families. This has included helping with playtime, meals, bedtime routines, homework, and creating a comfortable environment where children feel supported and cared for. I enjoy building strong relationships with both children and parents and always strive to be dependable and trustworthy.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy doing a variety of activities with children and finding things that match their interests and personalities. Every child is different, so I like creating activities that are both fun and engaging while encouraging creativity and learning.
Some of my favorite activities include arts and crafts, coloring, reading books, puzzles, board games, pretend play, baking simple treats, and helping with age-appropriate learning activities. I also enjoy helping with homework and school projects when needed.
I love spending time outdoors as well. Going to the park, taking walks, playing games, and keeping children active are some of my favorite ways to spend time together. My goal is always to keep children engaged, learning, and having fun while creating positive memories and helping them build confidence.

The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part of being a nanny is making sure children feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. Children do their best when they know they are supported, encouraged, and surrounded by positive people who care about them.
I believe a nanny’s role is about much more than supervision. It’s about building trust, being a positive role model, helping children learn and grow, and creating a fun environment where they can be themselves. I strive to create a balance between structure, learning, and fun while making sure each child receives the attention and support they need.
I also believe communication with parents is extremely important. Parents should feel confident knowing their children are in good hands. Building that trust with families while making a positive impact on a child’s life is what makes being a caregiver so meaningful to me.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments working with children was helping a child who was having a particularly difficult day. They were upset, frustrated, and having a hard time calming down. Instead of rushing through the situation, I spent extra time talking with them, playing with them, and helping them work through their emotions.
As the day went on, I could see their mood begin to change. By the end of the day, they gave me a hug and told me they felt better. It was such a simple moment, but it meant a lot to me because it reminded me how important patience, kindness, and consistency can be for a child.
Some of my favorite moments are often the little things—hearing children laugh, celebrating their accomplishments, helping them learn something new, or seeing their excitement when they’re proud of themselves. Those moments are what make working with children so rewarding.
