A little bit about me

Hi, I'm Madison. I'm 21 years old. I was recently a student at texas tech university. I've always had jobs working with kids and enjoy it a lot! Since I've left texas tech I've been on the hunt for a good nannying job and decided to try this website out! I was a nanny for a 8 year old boy two summers straight my junior and senior year. I also worked in the kids club at my old country club for about a year. I worked an elementary school's after school program for 2 years, and this summer I was a camp counselar at Camp Champions for 3 months straight, working with kids from ages 4-15. I'm currently a teacher at grace chruch day care, I work with the 2-3 year olds. I'm looking forward to finding the perfect family for me!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked as a nanny for two years for the same family. I worked at my country clubs "kids club". I worked for an elementary school's after school program for two years for Mckinney ISD. I most recently was a camp counselor at Camp Champions in marble falls for 3 months straight this summer. I currently work as a teacher at grace church pre school with 2-3 year olds.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I know with my last nanny job my kid loved going outside and playing at the park, I also enjoyed it because I was able to get out of the house and be in the sun. I loved watching movies and making popcorn and snacks. I've done lemonade stands which is always a hit, I always enjoyed coloring with my last nanny kid and I would also take him to the trampoline park to get his energy out for a couple hours. I'm willing to do whatever the kids want as long as they're safe and having fun!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most Important part about being a nanny is making sure your kids are having fun and being safe. I still remember all the fun stuff me and my babysitters used to do and it made me realize that the kids I watch will remember me too and I want to make sure all the memorys are fun times. I know it can be difficult for kids to be away from their parents for multiple hours at a time so I want to be able to be somone they can depend on and enjoy their time with while away from y'all!

My experience with special needs children...

I was in PALS throughout high school so i would attend special olympics with an assigned student and help them with whatever sport they were doing.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment was doing a lemonade stand. My kid and me had so much fun making the lemonade and making signs for the stand. It was super fun and i loved seeing how happy he was when people would come and buy it.
