Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was a daycare assistant during college and worked primarily with newborns as well as 3-4 year olds. I was also an RBT (behavior technician) and worked with kids on the spectrum ranging from ages 3-17.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I absolutely love doing arts and crafts with the kiddos. Going outside, reading books, and just doing imaginative play. I love working alongside the kids and following their interests and lead.

The most important part about being a nanny is building a strong, loving bond with the children I care for. This relationship is the foundation for everything else I do. When children feel safe, loved, and understood, they thrive emotionally, socially, and intellectually. I want them to feel safe with me.
My experience with special needs children...
I have lots of experience with kids with special needs. I specifically have worked with kids on a variety of levels on the autism spectrum. I have also worked with kids with Cerebral Palsy and Down Syndrome.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Just getting on my hands and knees and playing with the kids. Hearing them laugh and have fun always warms my heart.

We love summer and to do summer activities! Walks, water play and the park are just a few of those. I worked in a daycare for 5 years and had 6 toddlers for a period and then moved to infants for a year before quitting to stay at home when my middle child was born. They would love some additional playmates a few days a week and I love being surrounded by children! Especially babies and toddlers as mine are becoming grown and more independent.
