More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I started off volunteering with my mother and our local church pathways community center in San Diego. We would look after the infants and toddlers then I got my first shot babysitting around members at the church and then at 19 I started working at Boys And Girls Club and fell in love with the job i’ve been working there ever since.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing anything active like soccer volleyball, football basketball any active sports I also love to play board games or anything creative and something to get the child imagination running I really try to stay away from electronics and TVs that are not educational. I also tried to do stimulating activities for younger members like fidgets and puzzles. I also know a little ASL and love to teach ABCs and 123 basic words and phrases.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Consistency and patience is my key to success when it comes to working with kids. Consistency on a structured schedule and expectations that you have for the kids along with the patience of knowing that the child is learning and it will take a lot of time until the child understands.

My experience with special needs children...

I have a stepbrother who is autistic and I have had experience watching over him by myself along with a baby cousin who has down syndrome when he was an infant, I looked after him and at my job at Boys And Gurls Club. I have served at schools where I have worked with members who had nonverbal disabilities

The most important part about being a nanny...

my favorite nanny moment would probably be having the privilege to take my three kids that I was watching at the time to their neighborhood holiday block party. It was so fun and the whole neighborhood dedicated the event to the kids. It was so cute getting to see them make gingerbread houses and get hot cocoa along with seeing Santa.
