A little bit about me

Hello! I am 25 year old nanny looking for part-time work. I absolutely love children and babies, am the oldest of 5 kids so I basically was mom growing up and have 10 years of paid experience babysitting/nannying over the years. My current nanny job is ending in August and looking to fill my job by then. I am looking for ideally 20-25 hours per week. Currently, I work with a 20 month old toddler as well as carpooling for teenagers. I would gladly give references and I'm happy to see if I could help your family if we are a match:)

"I fully recommend hiring Maddy Ramsey as a nanny. In the years she worked for me she never missed a scheduled day. She is on time and ready to take over the minute she walks in the door. She was responsible for not only watching the children, she would fix meals for them, pick up after them, pack their lunches for the next school day, plan crafts, take them on outings to playgrounds, swimming pools, museums, and the zoo. Maddy is very trustworthy and was given a house key and allowed to use my car when taking the children to do activities around the town. She is easy to work with and wonderful with children. The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important part to being a nanny is knowing how to comfort and be there for each individual child. Making sure that you listen to them, hear them, and make sure they feel heard. Every human and every child needs to be shown love and feel like they are seen. I think that is the most important part about being a nanny. Not just being there but listening and interacting with them. Making sure that you are not zoning out but that you will be remembered as the "fun babysitter" and they ask you back because you were so attentive and caring towards them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was when one of the first little girl's I babysat had moved away and came back to visit with her family I got to babysit her for a night and she came running up to me so fast to hug me and tell me how much she missed me. I will never forget that moment. I was with her most of her life until she moved away and has a very special place in my heart and she ran up to me to hug me and tell me she loved me and missed me. It meant so much to me! I made an impact on her life:)
