Im Madison I’m 21 years old I’ve been on and off in childcare for about four years now. I’m also a mother of a little four month old boy and would have to bring him along with me to work. I’ve looked after kids between the ages of newborn to 14, and even have some experience with special needs children. my parents are both in the respite care industry my father in particular for children with special needs. I’ve learned lots from both of my parents on how to care for small children, as well as getting the joy out of caring for them. Outdoor activities (depending on the weather) fun trips to a nearby park, swimming, finger painting/brush painting, tag, pet-walking, hopscotch, playing with sidewalk-chalk.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important thing about being a nanny to me, giving parents time for themselves. meanwhile the thought and feeling of being trusted with children while the family is away means everything to me! having kids is a huge responsibility you have to be reliable!

I have cared for one child with Down syndrome, made sure they took their medication and meal prep.

One time my kids made me a “fancy dinner and show” they even dressed up! Super heartwarming and adorable!
