A nanny is the extension of the parents, making sure we are still implementing parental rules and beliefs but while also keeping the child’s best interest at heart.

For about 2-3 years I babysat for a young girl with down syndrome. Everything went smoothly when given instructions on her proper care. But I normally ask more questions and take a larger prescription when dealing with special needs children.

One of my favorite nanny moments, was with one of my full-time clients, his name is William and is the cutest 3 year old ever! And every day when I would walk to the front door, he’d press his face up against the glass and say, “Madison’s here!!!”
