Besides babysitting for neighbors and family friends, I have had several experiences working with children. For 6 years, I helped coach cheerleading where I choreographed routines and taught cheers. Additionally, I taught dance classes to both girls and boys for 3 years. Finally, I have been a camp counselor for 3-4 year olds at my local YMCA the past few summers. This past summer, I was promoted to head camp staff and oversaw our 3-5s program.

I think the most important part about being a nanny is caring for the children and getting to know their interests and hobbies. I love to play with kids and do different activities!
My experience with special needs children...
I have taken a few special education classes at school and it is a field I am very passionate about. Additionally, I have a few close friends who are on the autism spectrum. Though I do not personally have experience nannying children with disabilities, I would be open to this in the future!
