More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Throughout college, I was a nanny for a family of 3 kids, ages ranging infant to ten years old.
I also taught voice lessons professionally for two years and had many elementary aged students.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing any kind of craft and I’ve taught kids finger knitting, crocheting, and weaving.
I also really prioritize outside time when taking care of children. I love to arrange obstacle courses, scavenger hunts, build forts or fairy castles.
Reading is also one of my favorite activities with kids of all ages. I love having older kids practice their fluency by reading to me, and building literacy in younger learners through reading aloud.

The most important part about being a nanny...
is being a safe, enriching caretaker for your kids.
Nannying can be a very intimate job and, in the best of circumstances, a nanny becomes almost part of the family. It is a great privilege to be trusted with this role. I would love the chance to make a positive impact and be a dependable support for your family.

My experience with special needs children...
I have previously worked in a summer camp with a few children who were neurodivergent and/or had complex medical needs.
I am confident that this experience, combined with my patience and eagerness to learn would enable me to adapt to your child’s unique needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I was a nanny during COVID, so my nanny kids and I got very creative with our activities. This included forming a band together called “Flour.” I played chords on the piano and my nanny kids wrote down their own lyrics. Then, we made a melody together. By the end of the summer, we had enough songs to make an album. It was a great way for the kids to express themselves and have a creative project to work on together.
