I love nature, and teaching kids about nature is one of my favorite things to do. I enjoy outings such as going to the redwoods or swimming in the river, as well as simply going outside and observing the living things around us.
I enjoy nurturing the natural curiosity of children by teaching them the names of the different bugs, birds and rocks that we find in the yard, or while on a walk. When we teach kids to observe the natural world around them, it becomes so much more magical of a place.

I have no work experience with special needs children, but I do have life experience with certain special needs in children and adults.
I am very familiar with Autism and ADHD in teens and adults as well as high-support-needs ADHD in children, due to experience with my immediate family.
I am eager to utilize the skills I have learned through these experiences to aid in caring for and communicating effectively with a child with ADHD and/or Autism in a professional capacity.
