More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
In addition to being a middle school science teacher, I have extensive experience supervising and supporting children in structured and unstructured settings. I’ve managed classrooms of 25+ students, supervised lunch and dismissal, chaperoned field trips, and provided one on one academic support.
I regularly help students build routines, complete homework, regulate emotions, and navigate peer conflicts. My background in biology and public health also makes me very conscious of safety and attentive to children’s physical and emotional well-being.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy balancing structure with creativity. Some of my favorite activities include: Outdoor walks and park time, simple STEM experiments, arts and crafts, museums, the zoo and botanical gardens, board games, reading together.
I try to tailor actives to the child's personality, whether they're energetic or more quiet and imaginative.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, consistent, and supportive enviornment. Children thrive when they feel secure, understood, and encouraged.
For me its about building trust with the parents and the child while providing structure, warmth and reliability every day.

Im experienced in building structured routines, breaking tasks into manageable steps, using positive reinforcement, supporting emotional regulation.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments was when a student who initially struggled with confidence in science proudly told me they finally fully understood a concept we were working on. Watching a child move from frustration to confidence and knowing I helped create that shift is incredibly rewarding.
I love seeing children realize what they’re capable of.

I am a very patient person, I love to read and go on walks. Going to different museums, doing fun activities I can find around in the city. Trying new food places and shopping. Taking in beautiful scenery. And I love listening to music and hanging out with my friends and family as well. I have such a big hard when it comes to children and sometimes I feel like a kid at heart when I get to play with them.

Full-Time Nanny Available in New York, NY: Riley T.
Hi! I'm Riley, and I recently graduated after spending the past five years as a Division I student-athlete. Throughout college, I babysat and nannied for my coaches, families in the athletic department, and families in my community. What started as a way to earn extra income quickly became something I genuinely loved. I enjoy creating a fun, safe, and supportive environment where kids can learn, play, and be themselves. I'm dependable, patient, organized, and love staying active, whether that's spending time outdoors, doing crafts, reading books, baking, or helping with homework. I'm looking for a full-time nanny position because I'd love to build a long-term relationship with a family and become someone both parents and children can truly count on. I can't wait to meet your family!
