A little bit about me

My name is Maira, i am 24 years old and I LOVE AND ENJOY TIME WITH KIDS !
I have 3 of official childcare experience. meaning working at daycares (learning/early educational daycare so we work under the FWISD curriculum so i did teach, help students from ages 2years old to 14 years olds) and i get some nanny jobs on the side sometimes it’s, I’ve worked with 3 families, and some little evening nanny gigs i’ve had in the past with other families. but the 3 I’ve mentioned were long term jobs.

at some point I moved to a warehouse job but then I decided I was ready to have a child of my own and I now have my own little Baby Boy! I wanted to bring this up because I am wanting someone whom will take with my child as a first time mom and with not much help or money at the time I hope it’s understandable I want to keep my little one close He currently is under 2 months as well.
Can do fun learning activities, crafts, tutor / help with homework.

The most important part about being a nanny...

being a nanny is a really big responsibility, those kids will see you as much as they see their parents sometimes more or sometimes not so much. But you will be one of the people they will look up to and think of as a “guardian” while in our hands. I like to think of kids i nanny for, and kids to me, I unexpectedly feel as if i’m carrying for them as if they were my own or I feel like a cool cousin, a cool aunt. Someone they can count on and have fun with and feel safe and trust me.

My experience with special needs children...

Working at a daycare many kids experienced trouble speaking, walking, expressing feelings and so on. I learned to handle all kids the same but “special needs” kids need more attention then others, so i am very helpful. I try to understand them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

car rides were the best, I had two families i worked for one was 2 kids, boy and a girl 2 years apart and at school pick up/drop off on the way home or to school was fun. My recent nanny job started off as assisting the mom at her business and she loved the way I worked and decided to get me as a nanny/friend someone to hangout with her only child after school or at times when she would be bored & lonely. We would talk about our days, how they went what they did what their favorite part was about the day and then sing or play random little games to keep them entertained on the ride.
Also my recent job I was pregnant and the little girl I would be around grew to love me and my baby (in my belly) and is excited to meet him I will still be helping around with her but not as much since they don’t really need much of a nanny they just grab me to hangout with the daughter when she’s lonely.
