Hi! I'm Samaiya, but I often opt for people to call me Maiya. I'm a 20-year-old Senior attending college. Currently, I am pursuing a degree in Elementary Education with a Special Education add-on. I was homeschooled and self guided educated. I am an older sibling, so I have much experience with younger siblings and responsibilities. I am also a team lead with my church youth program. Along with that, I have worked with high schoolers for two years now as a mentor for a financial literacy camp. I am fully certified in CPR and First Aid. I am patient and compassionate. Not much. There is a little girl I work with who is autistic, and she is the sweetest thing. After I get my associates, I plan on going back to get my bachelor's to work with kids with special needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Was when these two girls I was babysitting brought a new puppy home. It was a toy breed, I believe. It was honestly the most adorable, heartwarming thing ever to see them light up with joy. Playing with the puppy was fun as well too, lol!
