A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Maiyah, and I love bringing creativity and care into childcare. I’ve taught babies through middle schoolers how to swim, which taught me patience, attentiveness, and how to celebrate all milestones. I’m currently a film student at UCLA with a passion for creativity, learning, cooking, mindfulness, and truly listening to kids’ feelings.

Becoming an aunt to my baby niece has given me hands-on experience with infants and a deeper understanding of their needs. I also come from a big, family-oriented household where hugs and “I love yous” are part of everyday life.
