The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe the most important part of being a nanny is building a strong relationship with the child. I believe this is the building block to ensuring the child can trust and respect you as a nanny. While this will look different for every child, it is important as a child care provider to help foster this relationship by learning and understanding each child’s needs.
My experience with special needs children...
I have gained most of my experience with special needs children by being a one-on-one counselor for the Crystal Lake summer day camp. Through this job I have helped out kids of all kinds of needs. Some in particular include Autism and Sensory processing disorder.
