My aunt owns a daycare where I assist with caring for children, and I also regularly babysit my 1½ year old nephew. Through these experiences, I’ve learned patience, responsibility, and how to create a safe and caring environment for kids.

I enjoy doing activities that keep children engaged, happy, and comfortable. I like things like arts and crafts, reading stories, movie nights, outdoor play, walks, baking treats together, and helping with learning activities when needed.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important part about being a nanny is making children feel safe, comfortable, cared for, and understood. I want the kids I care for to feel supported and able to be themselves around me. I also think it’s important to make a positive difference in their lives, even in small everyday ways, by being patient, dependable, and genuinely caring toward them.

My experience with special needs children...

I don’t have experience caring for special needs kids. Though I am not opposed to learning!

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments was when I was helping care for one of the children at my aunt’s daycare. Out of nowhere, he told me he loved me and then immediately jumped on me so hard that I fell out of my chair 😭 He thought it was the funniest thing ever, and it made me belly laugh too. Moments like that remind me how sweet, funny, and genuine kids can be, and that’s one of the reasons I enjoy working with them so much.
