My name is MaKayla Mahoney and I am 20 years old. I have been babysitting for about 6 years now and I love being creative. I try to make it fun for the children I babysit and making them smile. I was an assistant teacher for a year and I helped children with reading, writing, and being respectful, caring children in the class. I also volunteered as a camp counselor for ages preschool -kindergarten, 1st -3rd, and 4th-6th. My goal is to help children become wonderful caring kids when they are older, while putting a smile on their face.

I usually like to play board games with the kids (I bring some board games with me for them to play), watch movies (usually Disney), I also like to make small crafts with the kids as well, or anything the children want to do that is fun for them and safe.

The most important part about being a nanny is being able to help a family out who needs extra help with their children. My goal is to inspire young children to be caring and respectful; being a nanny I able do that.

The most memorable moment I had when babysitting a child was when I was about to leave and they asked when I was coming back. This made me feel like I really made the child happy and that I did my job right.
