A little bit about me

I simply love working with children. I love helping and watching children go through every stage of their young lives. Growing up, my mom owned a daycare and that’s where my never ending love and passion for childcare started. I knew at a young age my heart was crafted to care for and to love children. I spent my pre-teen years and my teenage years investing in the lives of children through internships, volunteer work, babysitting, tutoring and working at various daycares and schools. Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have several years of experience working with children in a variety of settings. I’ve been involved in childcare since I was 16, helping at my mother’s in-home daycare, and I’m currently a preschool teacher. I also previously worked as a teacher’s assistant in an elementary school, which gave me even more hands-on experience in the classroom. In addition, I serve as the Preschool Coordinator at my church and work with high school students every Wednesday. I regularly tutor and babysit as well. My passion for working with children runs deep—I truly love helping them grow, learn, and feel valued in every environment I’m a part of.

I love doing crafts, reading stories, singing songs, and playing games with children. I also enjoy helping them learn through fun, hands-on activities and watching their confidence grow as they try new things.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of the most special parts of my journey has been watching a little one I cared for since she was just 6 weeks old grow into a confident, playful 4-year-old. Being part of her life as she’s hit so many milestones has been such a joy and a reminder of how meaningful and lasting these relationships can be.
