A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Makayla Spence. I have been a preschool teacher for 5 years for various age groups starting as early as 3mo, to as old as 12 years, with experience of every age in between. I have worked at the Discovery Point Preschool in Lutz for 5 years and have decided to branch out for a more one on one type of experience in childcare. I find working with children to be the most rewarding job there is and I look forward to meeting you and your children while helping to grow their little minds and have a fun time while doing it! Working in childcare as a preschool teacher has given me an abundance of knowledge of the different age groups and how to care for them properly, while creating a fun and nurturing environment filled with patience and compassion. I hope to create special bonds with the children I care for and have already made so many meaningful relationships with my past students that make me love what I do :)
