A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Makhail! I have a passion for working with and teaching children! My experience is mostly with infants up to 3 years old! I can also help with household chores while working! I am very pet friendly! I have my CPR and first aid certificates as well as my food handlers permit! I also know a bit of ASL and I love to learn more when I can! I have also been working as an RBT for about a year!

In my spare time, I like to play video games, listen to music, and make crafts such as resin stuff, buttons, magnets, bracelets, and really anything crafty I'll probably love doing!

I have been a daycare teacher at some different places, I worked with infants and toddlers!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Crafts! I love making crafts and seeing how they all turn out! I also love singing and dancing with them!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Safety obviously is always number one but also forming a good relationship with not only the caretakers but also the child, children need to know they can trust you just as much as the parents do! Also keeping a fun and engaging personality!

My experience with special needs children...

I was a BT (not RBT I never got certified) at Autism Solutions for a little bit! I have also been doing RBT work for SkillBuilders ABA

The most important part about being a nanny...

Kids obviously say the funniest stuff sometimes, I think one of the funniest moments is when I was teaching the children in class Spanish words (keep in mind I know nothing about Spanish I just had a binder with words) and I'm saying words and one child just goes "can I help you? you seem confused" It was so cute and funny cause they didn't seem to be judging at all just generally asking if I needed help and I appreciated it!
