On my days that I do not have class I am a substitute teacher for MCCSC and mostly sub for elementary school students, so I can gain experience working with younger children before going into pediatrics. Working as a substitute teacher has provided me with tremendous experience of childcare, and I have also babysat my nephews multiple times.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to be outside whenever the weather is nice, whether that is doing chalk, playing on the playground with the children, or going for a walk. I also LOVE doing arts and crafts when it is gloomy out or just in general. I am always in the mood to have quiet time and watch a movie, read a book, do a puzzle, or any other calming activity too.
