"Mallory was an amazing nanny for our two girls. She watched both of them from birth until about six-years-old when they began school. She was loving and caring, gave the girls plenty of outdoor experiences, and generally didn't use electronics with our girls, which we really appreciated. She also became great friends with our neighbors in the process and everyone enjoyed her being around. Our girls also really enjoyed their time with her and still speak about her today. We see her anytime we can when we are back in Kansas City. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a nanny for their children."

More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Previously, I have worked as a full time, professional nanny from the years of [phone number hidden]. During that period I maintained continuing education by obtaining my Montessori primary years teaching certificate from Clay Platte Montessori school. I have nannied occasionally for several families in the Kansas City area. Currently, I work at Park University, but still enjoy working with children and nannying on some weekends to make extra income.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Being the observer and allowing for self guided learning and getting to know the child’s individual needs, motivations, and temperament so that I can best cater to their growing journey.
Reading books, doing age appropriate crafts, listening to quality children’s music, cooking/baking, creating themed chalk art for learning about shapes, numbers, colors, animals, etc.
I also very much enjoy planning Montessori inspired activities and lessons for children.
I believe that spending quality time outdoors is a beautiful way to “teach” children and allow for their minds and spirits to experience the wonders of nature in both big and small ways.
I love taking children to the library for story time, parks, and any enriching environment well suited for children.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is knowing and understanding the crucial periods of life that the children are in while caring for them. Going in to each nanny experience with the expectation that my role as a nanny is not just to provide the bare minimum of a child’s needs being met, but to also help to bring joy, learning opportunities, and emotional support and guidance helps me to have clear understanding of my complete role with the children.
Having clear and respectful communication with the parents is another very important aspect of nannying. We need to be on the same page from both perspectives so that all parties involved have the most optimal experience.

The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the moments when children say sweet and funny things are very precious. The moment where they seek me out when we go to a new place because they are a little nervous warms my heart because it shows me that that trust me and feel safe with me. Another thing that I love is when children sing a song that I have taught them unprompted: it shows that I am having a positive impact! :)

Hi! I am a bilingual female who is really good with taking care of children. I have a list of activities that your child and I can do together! They are fun, educational, safe, clean, and age appropriate. I will also be preparing meals and snacks just let me know if your child is allergic to anything so I can keep it out of reach of your child. Your child’s health and security matters, this is a sanitized-non messy area with locked alarmed doors. Dangerous objects are and always will be out of reach from your child. I love to watch movies and play games and enjoy nature. I’m a very sociable kind loving person. I love animals, my favorite animal is a seal.
