A little bit about me

I have 5 years of experience as a nanny, I was a nanny over the summer throughout high school for 2 kids. I watched them 5 days per week for around 10-12 hours per day. I love being with kids so much! I have taken a few courses in high school that were geared towards child development and teaching. I was a nanny for 4 girls (3, 5, 9, 11) and I homeschooled them (October 2022 - March 2023). They moved back to their hometown in March so I nannied for my cousin up until I moved to Enid in July 2023. I worked as a teacher assistant in a local in home daycare for almost a year. I loved it so much! Unfortunately my boss had to close for personal reasons but my passion for kids is still alive! I love making messes!! That’s how you have fun! Any arts and crafts, food experiments, etc. I am in!! I also enjoy going to hands on museums. I love takings kids to the zoo, parks, play places, etc.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important part is to just provide a safe space and always reassure the kids that mistakes happen and we can take care of them. I think it’s very important to be patient and open minded at all times. And on top of everything, keep a strong relationship with the parents and always have clear communication.

There is no way I can choose one!! I always love the snuggles my nanny kids give me when they start getting used to me. It’s so sweet! Or the hilarious questions that you would have never thought about until the littles ask!
