I did an internship in an Elementary school classroom for a year, and since then have spent time in 4 other elementary school classrooms caring for kids. I have 2 nephews ages 8 months and 2 that I babysit regularly.

The most important thing to me about being a nanny is creating a fun, safe, and positive environment where kids feel comfortable being themselves. As I’m studying to become an elementary school teacher, I have loved helping children learn and grow while also making sure they enjoy being kids! I want to be someone families can trust and someone their kids are excited to spend time with every day.

I have experience of being a peer tutor various times in 4 different classes throughout high school. I loved spending time with students with special needs. I was able to assist them in difference subjects and grow great friendships!
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment taking care of my sister’s kids was when we went outside to play in her mini pool. It was so fun watching her 2 year old laugh and chat away for a long time, and seeing the 8 month old having fun kicking his legs around in the water. I’ve never seen both of them so happy, and I’ll never forget it.
