More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have had experience at 2 daycares, and absolutely love working with children! I also have over 6 years of experience working in the youth ministry at my church. I have also been babysitting for about 4 years for friends, family, and neighbors.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to sing and dance with children, and the occasional movie night before bed time. I value learning through play. Whether it is tea parties, and baby dolls, or trucks, and backyard sports, I will be happy to participate in whatever activities your children love, and hope that I can teach them or help them learn something knew each time.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is making sure that you are a friendly and familiar face, rather than a scary, mean, stranger. I value positive connection, and learning through play heavily. I know that children need redirection sometimes, because that is how they learn right from wrong, but I believe that kindness, patience, and positive redirection, go a long way!
My experience with special needs children...
I have had a few experiences with special needs children through the past few years. From serving in my church's youth program since 6th grade, to working at a daycare for the past 2 years, and even having a younger sister, who has been diagnosed with autism, I have learned that each child, special needs or not, has their own unique way to be cared for.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My all time favorite babysitting moment, is when I was welcomed into the lovely home, of my Pastor and his family for the first time. For years our family had been close, but I had only had their daughter in my youth class for about a year. Each week, I made sure to write a post card to this little girl, and congratulate her for learning so much. The first thing she said to me when I walked through the door was "Miss Mallory look, I save your mail!" and she led me to her room, where she kept a stack of my postcards. I will always remember this experience, and how it reminded me just how much I love to work with children, and make meaningful connections that will help them grow up and be the best version of themselves.

Babysitter Available in Edmond, OK: Anasa W.
My name is Anasa, and I am 36 years old. I am a U.S. citizen, originally from Liberia, West Africa. I have been married for four years, and my husband and I have four wonderful children who are 10, 9, 6, and 3 years old.
My passion for working with children began in 2010 while I was attending college. I worked in the campus childcare program, and I quickly discovered how much I enjoyed caring for and teaching young children. Since then, I have worked as a teacher assistant in preschools and daycares, caring for children from infancy through second grade.
As a mother, I bring both professional and personal experience to childcare. Three of my children are autistic, which has taught me patience, compassion, flexibility.
Families describe me as patient, dependable, hardworking, and trustworthy. I genuinely enjoy helping children learn, grow, and feel loved. I would be honored to support your family by providing reliable, attentive, and compassionate care for your children.

Part-Time Nanny Available in Edmond, OK: Karly F.
Hello, my name is Karly! I’ve spent 3 years working with special needs kids at a therapeutic ridding center, 4 years teaching gymnastics, and 2 years teaching kids jiujitsu and kickboxing. (So yes I would love to teach your kids some self defense if you would like that) I grew up with 2 siblings 10+ years younger than me and was helping in the nursery at my church my whole childhood, so I’ve always loved all ages. I love animals and I hate to sit still and be inside. I love to be outside and go on walks I’ll take your dog to! Homemaking has always been fun for me running errands, cooking, and cleaning.
