A little bit about me

Hi my name is Mandy I am 24 years old. I am a nanny going on three years now. I have been with the same family all three years. Now as the kids have grown the family I take care of is looking to switch over to part time with both kids being enrolled in school beginning in September. I am looking for another wonderful family to be apart of! A little about me…I was a pre school teacher before nannying but switched to be more involved in development and growth and make more of an impact with families.
I do have a glowing reference from the family I work for now. I am also CPR and First aid certified. I do have a clean driving record with a reliable car! I would like to keep working with my current family in the afternoons 2-6. So my ideal hours with another family would look like 7am-1pm. The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important thing about being a nanny is connecting with the kids. Such as doing fun activities together and teaching them new things everyday. I have fallen in love with every child that has been apart of my life as a pre school teacher/babysitter and its so easy to do with children who just effortlessly love and seeing their minds grow everyday!

P.S I also have experience taking care of pets so your fur babies are safe with me as well!

The most important part about being a nanny...

My Favorite nanny moment would be around Christmas time. I set up an annual Christmas sleepover at my house with the kids I nanny for now. We went and saw the upstate holiday lights while shouting Christmas tunes and drinking hot chocolate all while wearing matching Grinch pjs. Other activities I had don’t with them for the sleepover consisted of building our own gingerbread house, watching a Christmas movie, and making our own ornaments. Needless to say they were exhausted by the end of the night and went to sleep almost instantly! 😂
