A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Marena! I am currently residing in Huntington Beach. I hold a Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree along with teaching credentials in Early Childhood Education (PreK–4) and Special Education (K–8).

I have worked with children and young adults ages 2–21 for the past 15 years through classroom teaching, tutoring, after-school programs, and childcare. My most recent role has been working in a school district as an Educational Specialist and have been teaching students with special needs for the past 9 years. I enjoy working with my families within the school setting and supporting family needs to ensure the best care and education for the students.

I am a highly motivated, organized, enthusiastic, and dependable professional who is passionate about supporting students both academically and socially. Outside of work, I love staying active—I play basketball and volleyball, love going to both the beach and pool, and I go to the gym five days a week, and run twice a week.
