A little bit about me

Hello!

My name is Margaret and I am interested in caring for your family!

I am a former teacher and currently a full time nanny for another great family (of five kids), only looking to leave due to scheduling conflicts, and feel that I'd be a great fit for you!

I've worked with children for over a decade! I spent three years as an early elementary school teacher and one year as a middle school teacher and also taught children's swim lessons and lifeguarded for eight years.

I am calm, creative, and fun and am comfortable caring for multiple children of any age!

I am a certified teacher with First Aid and CPR training and have completed coursework in Early Childhood Education and Early Child Development.

I help with cooking, meal preparation, carpooling, and even swimming supervision if needed.

Please let me know if you're interested in having my help in caring for your family! Hope to hear from you!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Teacher, lifeguard, and swim coach/instructor

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Playing outside, walks, museums, parks, board games, card games, hikes, and anything in between

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is good communication and a positive relationship with the kids-though an authoritative one so that we all have a positive experience.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience with children with both cerebral palsy and autism!

The most important part about being a nanny...

When I work with little ones and they say my name for the first time!:) Or with bigger kids and the first time I get to help them solve a problem, bonus if I can make a middle schooler laugh haha.
