I've helped take care of children since I was 12 years old. I baby sat for many different families. I also worked in the church nursey during church service. I have also worked for several different families as Nanny. I also worked in two different school systems as a Paraprofessional.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love reading, playing songs and doing music and movement with children. Allowing children to be children. Taking them out doors to play to get fresh air so they can burn off that energy.

The one thing I love about being a Nanny is building a trusting relationship with both the children and the parents.
My experience with special needs children...
I'm a mom of two young adult children with special special needs . They are both Mild intellectually delayed. My son has mild autism on top of that. Also I worked in the Gwinnett county school system as a special needs Paraprofessional. I was in the Mild class room helping the classroom teacher with 2nd - 5th graders.
The most important part about being a nanny...
That would be when a child achieves a goal that they have been struggling with. Knowing when I'm more than just a nanny to the family.
