More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I come from a big family with lots of little cousins, and my boyfriend’s family does too, so being around kids has always been a huge part of my life. Over the summer last year and again during Christmas, I flew to Washington to visit his family and stayed with his aunt and uncle, who have the sweetest toddler and a 7-year-old. I absolutely loved playing with them, helping care for them, and keeping them entertained while their aunt and uncle were busy or at work. Spending time with them truly made my heart so happy :)
My experience with special needs children...
I also have an autistic older sister who is now 21, and growing up with her taught me how to be especially patient, gentle, and attentive to individual needs. I’m also neurodivergent myself and have ADHD, so I truly understand that every child learns, communicates, and expresses themselves differently. While I’ve had my own challenges, those experiences have helped shape me into a more compassionate and understanding caregiver. I believe this would allow me to be a great fit for families with children who have special needs, creating a safe, supportive, and loving environment where they can feel comfortable being themselves 🤍

Hi! I’m Gracie — a full‑time 5th grade ELA teacher and someone who genuinely loves working with kids. I’m calm, patient, and easy to connect with, and I try to create an environment where children feel safe, understood, and cared for. Teaching has given me a lot of experience with routines, big emotions, and keeping things running smoothly, whether we’re playing, getting outside, or winding down for quiet time.
I’m currently looking for a summer nannying position, since I’ll be off from school and would love to spend my break supporting a family who needs reliable, warm, and consistent care. Families describe me as dependable, nurturing, and someone their kids feel comfortable with right away. I’d love to be a steady, positive presence for your family this summer.
