"It is with much pleasure that I am able to recommend Maria Valasquez as a nanny. She watched my eight-month old boy, and she is a joy to work with. We need to leave the US to live abroad, and we are very sad to have to say bye to Maria, but I wanted to do her the courtesy of making sure that other families can take advantage of her good work too.
Maria consistently arrived at our home on time, ready to engage with our boy with a smile on. She is kind, compassionate, and intelligent. She is very attentive to detail and ensures my baby boy is always safe and well taken care of. She comes with a different activity for him every day. My boy loves spending time with her.
If you choose to hire Maria, you can be confident that your kids are in good hands. You don’t have to worry about a nanny, who will just sit and watch TV. Maria is very engaging with the baby and earns her money well."

More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I helped to take care of children infants to 10 year olds in church. I have babysat nieces and nephews, and helped to teach third graders in a public school for a whole school year. I’ve been nannying between all of this too.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to help young children with tummy time, rollover, muscle strengthening, fine motor skills, sitting up, balance, standing, walking, feeding them, putting them to bed, changing diapers and clothes, reading, singing to them. I make sure to make nap time a special moment so they can feel relaxed and ready for bed.
I love to play with children inside or outside with toys, pretend play, creating obstacles, and other types of games, reading, singing, dancing, walking, taking them to the park and the library and so much more!

The most important part about being a nanny...
It’s such a blessing to have the opportunity to take care, protect, nurture, teach, have fun with, and help to raise children creating beautiful and strong bonds with children that impact their lives.
My experience with special needs children...
I helped to meet the needs and to teach children with disabilities in a school.
The most important part about being a nanny...
when a baby was playing with some buttons, and she wanted to be the only one touching them. I made it more fun by pretending to almost touch the buttons and speaking real soft and slow telling her that I was gna touch the buttons. All the sudden, instead of touching the buttons, I tickled her softly, and she started laughing. We kept doing this, and after a while, she turned around, gave me this beautiful smile and came close to me and gave me a hug! We kept playing this and adding more things to do during the not touching the buttons.
On two separate occasions, I went to babysit two little girls from different families who I used to babysit, but I stopped seeing them because they started school. When they saw me after not having seen me for a while, they both jumped into my arms, and hugged me really tight for a long time not wanting to let me go. After I played with them for the whole day, they asked their parents if I could go back to play with them!
